Mindful Movement is a program subsidized by the PEI MFRC in response to the wishes of ill and injured members and veterans to have alternative methods of encouraging and fostering healing and improved mental health. The instructor for these sessions is Triona Harrop, a trained Yoga for Trauma specialist. The exercise is tailored to the individual’s capacity and takes into account the person’s physical abilities. Wear what you consider most comfortable. It is open to members, veterans, and their families and runs January 9–February 15, with classes Tuesdays at 5:30 pm and Thursdays at 12:15 pm. Attend either or both. Classes will be at HMCS Queen Charlotte, 210 Water St, Charlottetown. 902-892-8999
