Perrin’s Marina Villa 

November 16–17

The 8th annual Christmas Craft Fair at Perrin’s Marina Villa, which supports the Residents’ Activity Fund, will offer an opportunity to find hand crafted gifts and creations and will welcome you with a warm and friendly atmosphere. There will be a wide variety of crafts available from many talented local artisans. And yes there will be fudge. Admission is free and there is a door prize. Hours are November 16 from 5–8 pm and November 17 from 9 am–4 pm. The Villa is at 115 Sackville St, Montague. 902-838-3308

Stratford Schools Holiday Market

November 16–17

Stratford Elementary and Glen Stewart Primary are holding their annual holiday market on November 16 and 17. The holiday market is being held at Stratford Elementary, 50 Glen Stewart Dr, and will be open on Friday from 5–9 pm and Saturday from 9 am–5 pm. Come browse over 90 exhibitors with items ranging from homemade food, crafts and trinkets. There is something for everyone at the holiday market so don’t miss this great opportunity to get a unique holiday gift.

New Dominion 

November 17

The Christmas Craft Fair hosted by the Rice Point WI will be held at the Afton Community Center, New Dominion, on November 17, 9 am–3 pm. Admission is free and gift basket raffle and canteen services will be available. Come and join the fun.

Colonel Gray 

November 23

The 26th Annual Colonel Gray Band Christmas Craft Fair will be held November 23 from 5:30–9:00 pm and November 24 from 10 am–5 pm. The Fair takes place at Colonel Gray High School, at 175 Spring Park Road in Charlottetown. The school is wheelchair accessible. This craft fair includes 95 vendors with 130 tables featuring fine quality handcrafted items and decorations, fudge, live music throughout the school, and a canteen. There will be fresh Christmas wreaths for sale and pre-orders taken for Christmas trees at the band entrance to the school, where you can select your own wreath accessories (no admission for those only purchasing wreaths). 902-894-7714

Christmas Commotion —Artisan, Craft & Bake Sale

November 23–24

Hosted by the Little Pond Girl Guides as part of the Town of Souris Parade Week activities, the Christmas Commotion Artisan, Craft and Bake Sale will be held November 23 from 4–8 pm and November 24 from 10 am–2 pm. Crafts, baked goods and more. Admission is $2 and free for children 12 and under. Girl Guides will be selling tickets on a basket of goodies generously donated by the vendors at the sale. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Everyone welcome. 

Festive Fox

Festive Fox presents 12 days of Christmas artisan/farmers’ market Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays November 23–December 16 from 11 am-8 pm at 3635 Brackley Point Road, directly across from the Dunes. Find fine objects, created and collected from dozens of artisans. Enjoy music, bonfire, hot beverages and daily specials and giveaways.

Victorian Christmas Weekend

November 23–25

Immerse yourself in a storybook Christmas setting filled with holiday traditions including an open-air Victorian Christmas market with Artisans and Food vendors, Christmas movies, horse and wagon rides, carolers, public Christmas singalongs, Charlottetown’s Official Christmas Tree Lighting, the Charlottetown Christmas Parade and more. It takes place in downtown Charlottetown November 23–25. The outdoor market on Queens Street runs Friday 5–8 pm, Saturday 10 am–8 pm and Sunday 11 am–5 pm. The market primarily consists of local products that are handcrafted/produced in PEI.

Milton Community Hall

Plan to attend the 25th Annual Kensington Christmas Craft Fair on November 24. There will be over 50 door prizes to be won. The Fair is hosted by the Malpeque Bay Area Lions Club at the Kensington Queen Elizabeth Elementary School from 9 am–4 pm. For sale will be a vast variety of quality hand made items made by local artisans. If you are interested in setting up a display table, contact Kate at 902-836-3075. Christmas in Belfast

November 24

A Christmas Craft Fair takes place November 24 from 9 am–3 pm at the Belfast Rec Centre located at 3033 Garfield Rd in Belfast. It will feature a variety of homemade treasures by Island artisans for all your Christmas decorating, baking and shopping needs. The Annual Breadalbane Small is Beautiful Christmas Craft Fair will be held November 24, 10 am–3 pm at the Breadalbane Community Centre (on the Dixon Rd overlooking the town). Admission proceeds go to the Community Council. The Fair features Stanley Pottery, PEI Maple and More, Oceanna Seaplants, MySights cards and prints, knitting, sewing by the Master’s Pieces, Karen’s Jewels, Petra’s new line of Special Gifts, among others. The PEI Weaver’s Guild will host an open house in the studio which is located in the basement of the Centre. 

Etsy Holiday Market

November 24–25

Etsy Holiday Market features local Etsy sellers selling their locally made products November 24, 10 am–5 pm, and 25, 12–5 pm, at Murphy’s Community Centre, Richmond St, Charlottetown. Admission supports the building of small business bursaries for local Etsy sellers.

Eptek Auction

November 25

To commemorate Eptek Art & Culture Centre’s 40th anniversary, the Friends of Eptek Centre will host a celebratory auction at 2 pm November 25. It has been a number of years since The Friends last held an auction, and they have always been quite popular. On the block will be fine art and craft, collectible antiques, and other special items. Viewing will begin at 1 pm. The Friends of Eptek Centre will serve refreshments. This auction commemorates Eptek Art & Culture Centre’s 40 years of exhibitions and programming. The centre has brought in national and international exhibitions as well as providing an opportunity for local artists and crafts people to display their creations. As one of the 7 PEI and Heritage Foundation sites, Eptek Centre also displays treasured artifacts from the Foundation’s permanent collections.

Ho Ho Home Economics Auction

November 29

PEI Home Economics Association’s annual auction of gifts, decor, and food for the holidays takes place November 29 at 6:30 pm. All are welcome. No admission is charged. Christmas Bake Sale

November 29

On November 29 there will be a Christmas bake sale at the Confederation Court Mall kiosk in Charlottetown from 9 am–5 pm. This sale will be all home-baked goods made by the parishioners of St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral, All Souls’ Lane, Charlottetown. Everything from pickles to sweets to savouries will be available for purchase. Proceeds support the up–keep of the National Historic Site All Souls Chapel.

Christmas in the Villages

December 1

The Murray Harbour Farmers Market, Murray River Hall and Northumberland Minor Hockey Association will host the 4th Annual Christmas in the Villages December 1 from 9 am–2 pm. Murray Harbour Farmers Market will hold their event at Murray Harbour Community Centre in their usual spot. The Murray River Raising The Roof Group will hold their event at Murray River Hall. The Northumberland Minor Hockey Assoc’s venue will be the Northumberland Arena. All three venues will offer you an variety of products and items from local artisans, farmers, bakers and businesses. 3rd Annual Christmas Craft Fair/Tea

Red Sand Island is hosting the 3rd Annual Christmas Craft Fair December 8 from 9 am–3 pm at St. Eleanors Community Centre. Along with craft tables, there will be tea, coffee and home baked goods for sale. Follow on FB. 1 West Drive, St Eleanors.
