Holland College’s School of the Performing Arts is joining forces with the Charlottetown Film Festival to provide an Acting for the Camera Workshop with director Harmony Wagner.

Ms. Wagner, the Charlottetown-based director, followed up the success of her short film Queen of the Crows—which travelled to the Cannes Film Festival—with two feature films: the comic comedy Kooperman and Singing to Myself. Acting students will benefit from her experience directing both dramas and comedy.

The Vancouver Film School “Search Scholarship Tour” is also coming to town to work with ChFF17 and IMAC to reach out to PEI’s student actors.

The 3rd Annual Charlottetown Film Festival runs from September 29 to October 1 at City Cinema.

Time and venue of the Acting for the Camera Workshop with Harmony Wagner were not finalized before this issue of The Buzz went to press. For details check www.charlottetownfilmfest.com.
