Island musician Jeannie Cameron has released her debut CD, Black Coffee. The album has Jeannie covering ten songs including Black Coffee, Landslide, When you say nothing at all, Jolene, Seven Lonely Days, 16th Avenue, What’s Your Mama’s Name, Picture of me without you, It’s a little too late, and When will I be loved.
Musicians on the recording are Jeannie Cameron (lead vocals), Danny MacNevin (acoustic and electric guitar, piano, strings), Thomas DesRoches (bass), Wayne Robichaud (drums, percussion), Dave Ellis (electric guitar), Doug Johnson (steel guitar), with harmony vocals by Kurk Bernard, Rodney Arsenault and Danny MacNevin. Danny MacNevin produced and engineered the CD. It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Big DogZ Recording Studio in Summerside (www.bigdog/studio.com). Black Coffee is dedicated to Jeannie’s dad “The Music Man” Lea Cameron.
