Sea the Coast Paddle Festival

Canada Day in Stratford

July 1

Celebrate Canada’s Birthday at Stratford Town Centre. Events for all ages include: Pancake Breakfast at Stratford Centre (7:30 am), Par-T-Perfect & Blossom the Clown at Stratford Centre (8:30 am), activities at Tea Hill Park (1:30–4 pm)—live music, face painting, bouncies, Flavours of the World, BBQ, kite demonstration, magic show, Volunteer of the Year Awards, Canada Day cake, ice cream and strawberries. North Rustico Canada Day

July 1

Celebrate Canada Day in North Rustico. Street Parade starts at 10:30 am. Seawalk Park events are: 5k Fun Run at 8 am, Interfaith Service at 9:30 am, Bouncy Houses at 12 pm, Circus & Aerial Show various times. Seawalk Stage opens at 11:45 am with Kim Albert & Faces, stepdancing, Gordon Belsher & Cynthia MacLeod, The Mainstreet Bullies, Good Ol’ Boys and Still Rockin. Cloggeroo—the Island Folk Festival

August 10–12

Cloggeroo — the Island Folk Festival — is back this summer for its fifth year in Georgetown on the weekend of August 10–12. Acts include Grand Theft Bus, Rose Cousins, Monkey Junk, The Mellotones, Slowcoaster, Christine Tassan et les Imposteures, Hot Toddy Trio, Vishtèn, Theresa Malenfant & the Instigators, Amanda Jackson Band, CALM BARETTA, The Hypochondriacs, The Rubber Boot Band, The Koconut Kings, Willie Stratton, Chas Guay & Nick Gauthier, Mike Dixon, and Sarah Hagen. The festival also features an annual free concert on the beach, an annual fireworks show, food vendors, a full bar, festival camping, children’s activities, free shuttles around town, and much more. Early bird weekend passes available for a limited time. www.cloggeroo.com
