Lawn Summer Nights

July 19 & 26

Lawn Summer Nights is a lawn bowling fundraiser held in cities across Canada, benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Canada. The event generates awareness about cystic fibrosis, introduced thousands of young Canadians to community engagement, and revived lawn bowling. The #lawnsummer event is coming to Charlottetown July 19 and 26 at 6 pm. You must be 19+. Event is at Sherwood Lawn Bowling Club, 12 Juniper Dr, Charlottetown. Trilobster Triathlon

August 19

Trilobster Triathlon will be held August 19 from 7 am–12 pm starting at Heather Moyse Dr, Summerside Waterfront. It has events for all ages and abilities: Kids of Steel, supersprint, standard races, six world qualifying events, sprint draft legal, standard triathlon, sprint draft legal duathlon, standard duathlon, sprint aquabike and sprint aquathon. 902-626–8360

Racing to Read Run/Walk

September 9

The Friends of the Montague Rotary Library present its 3rd annual Racing to Read Run/Walk on September 9 beginning at the Montague Rotary Library, 53 Wood Islands Road. This event has a distance for everyone — 1/2 marathon, 10km, 5km running routes and a 2.5km route for walkers. All proceeds will go towards local library literacy and programming initiatives in Eastern PEI. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided at the finish line. Registration at 8 am with half marathon start time at 9 am. The 5, 10, and 2.5 km start time is 9:30 am. 

Parkinson SuperWalk 2018

September 9

Parkinson SuperWalk is Canada's only nationwide fundraiser in support of Canadians living with Parkinson's. Participate on September 9 as part of a cross-Canada movement of communities committed to changing the course of Parkinson's in Canada. Commit to join 10,000 participants bonded together by their vision of a world without Parkinson's. Be an everyday hero in your community. Since 1990, the event has been raising awareness and funds to support Canadians with Parkinson’s, their families and the health professionals that treat them. Parkinson SuperWalk will begin at HMCS Queen Charlotte, 210 Water Street, Charlottetown, from 2–4 pm.
