PEI's ECMA nominated ensemble of string players will guide you through an afternoon of music from William Byrd to David Bowie. Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada – Prince Edward Island Chapter will host its first ever Princess and Superhero Party at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel on May 7 from 2–6 pm. This enchanted afternoon will raise funds to help grant wishes to Island children between the ages of 3 and 17 who have been diagnosed with a life–threatening illness.

The Island Dance Academy, under the direction of Martha Nicholson, will present its annual performance on May 7. “Oh! Canada!” will showcase students, ages 3 and up, transforming all things Canadian, into dance. Performances in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz and Broadway will be presented by the students. Performances will be at 2:30 pm and 7 pm
