Blue Steel

Bandwagon

Blue Steel Blue Steel Band: Blue Steel is a brand new dance pop/rock cover band from Summerside.

Members/history: Dennis Gallant (drums) previously played with the PEI Music Award nominated band Junkmale. Scott Cleary (vocals/bass) is originally from Toronto and played Ozzy Osbourne in an OZZY tribute band and also played bass with a Van Halen tribute. Scott also toured professionally at one point during his career. Kevin Hume (vocals/guitar) has been into music for over 20 years which included time with a few garage bands, obsessions with various types of music from southern blues to classical, as well stints on various instruments including a number of years devoted to classical violin. With Blue Steel Kevin is getting back to his roots doing what he really loves which is playing rock music.

Genre: The group covers pop/rock hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and today.

Venues: Catch them at the Silver Fox in Summerside, the Miscouche Legion and other venues. The band is also booked to play the Summerside Lobster Carnival Parade (July 14) and the Alanticade Motorcycle event (June 30) at the Credit Union Place.
