PEI Savour Food & Wine celebrates and promotes the talents of local chefs, artisan distilleries, wineries, and sommeliers, as well as the diversity of Prince Edward Island's high quality food products. Enjoy the creations of over 40 great food and beverage vendors on May 23 from 7:00–9:00 pm at the Confederation Centre in Charlottetown.

 
Macphail in May

May is a busy month at Macphail Woods in Orwell. On May 11 a workshop on Identifying Native Trees and Shrubs will be presented. Stroll around the native plant nursery, arboretum and trails on the Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead and learn how to identify native trees and shrubs. The workshop begins at the nursery at 10 am.

Then on May 25, you are invited to the annual Birds and Breakfast. Macphail Homestead

Safe Grad Campaign

The PEI Liquor Control Commission has launched its 5th annual province-wide Support Safe Grad fundraising campaign. Donations will be distributed to PEI high schools to help fund alcohol-free graduation celebrations. Funds generated through this campaign supplement fundraising and volunteer efforts of parents, students and teachers who work throughout the year to ensure the success of safe grad activities.
