The Other Notebook by David Helwig
I don’t watch television much these days, the local news, live sports now and then, maybe one or two shows during the week. Our only connection to the outside world is rabbit ears, but even if we had a dozen channels I suspect I wouldn’t watch a lot more. But I have become a student of TV drama on the CBC since that’s all we get. I once worked in CBC TV drama, and I wrote a few scripts, years ago now.

by Derek Martin
Derek Martin in the new City Cinema seats.
The Holiday break was a busy time at City Cinema, as we had just four days to install our Christmas present for our customers—brand new seating! The new ones have higher backs and deeper foam, providing a lot more comfort—not to mention cup-holders.

Island Imagemakers: Conversations with Islanders who make film and TV by Dave Stewart
Fox Henderson applies a prosthetic application to Natasha Kudashkina behind the scenes of his “1940s Film Noir... but with demons” called Cronus.
Int. FX Studio/Computer Lab–late night
I expect Fox Henderson to be kind of shy, but as he enters the lab, he warns me that he’ll probably swear a lot. He doesn’t. He does, however, have a lot of film projects, both behind him and ahead of him, to discuss.
Dave: What got you in to movie making?
