The Thirteen Days of Christmas is a locally-produced Christmas CD featuring Nudie and The Turks, Meaghan Blanchard, Liam Corcoran, John Connolly, Boxer The Horse, Nathan Wiley, Paper Lions, Tim Chaisson, and Al Tuck, to name a few. The album is a mix of traditional Christmas songs and original material. “I love this type of creative process. Artists were given control over the content, which let the album take on a life of its own,” said engineer/producer Adam Gallant. The album will be sold in support of a yet-to-be-determined charity and will be available for sale at Back Alley Music and CD Plus in Charlottetown beginning December 12. |

Ship to China is the debut album created by local musician, Bruce White. It began in a small apartment somewhere in Asia and continued throughout Britain, Europe and finally ended up back in Canada. White describes the songs as “short, upbeat, catchy dance tales from the junk drawers of oversea cultures.” The Dogs Will Hunt has been 3 years in the making and was finally released in early September. Superfecta - slung
A Charlottetown alt. country band known as “slung” has released its first album, Superfecta. An official launch of the CD is being held on November 7 at Fishbones on Victoria Row in Charlottetown. The band consists of Murray Murphy (guitars and vocals), Hans Connor (bass, harmonica and vocals), Brad Trivers (mandolin), Ted Simmons (banjo) and Jason “Gus” MacKinnon (drums).
