The 2017 Fresh Products Directory is available at or by phoning 1-866-PEIFARM. It can also be found at any of the province’s Visitor Information Centres, liquor stores, Access PEI sites, or the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries offices. The directory includes a map to allow for easy navigation from one fresh-food location to another. A “What’s in Season” chart shows when products are available.

Installing child safety seats

Experts from Child Safety Link (CSL), the child and youth injury prevention program of the IWK Health Centre, have joined forces with the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) to offer child seat training to provincial Highway Safety staff and other Islanders who support families. To book an appointment to have car seat installation checked, the public can call Chances Family Resource Centre at 902-892-8744.

Celebrate Canada 150 with Parks Canada

Parks Canada is offering free admission to all national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas in 2017 in celebration of Canada 150. Visitors can get their free Parks Canada 2017 Discovery Pass online or at one of the entrance kiosks in PEI National Park, Green Gables Heritage Place, or at Ardgowan National Historic Site.
