Definitely Not The Symphony (DNTS) is a community orchestra currently numbering more than 30 amateur musicians with various skill levels. Led by two conductors, Liam Payne and Jan Gomersall, the orchestra has grown, matured and evolved since its humble beginnings 8 years ago. Its large music repertoire includes a broad selection of styles from traditionally “classical” composers to Broadway shows and movie themes . “Star Wars” was a big hit at their last concert. If you play an instrument, or would enjoy renewing musical skills you once learned, or are just a relative beginner on your instrument, you will be welcomed. You will find playing with cellos, violins, viola and harps is a different and rewarding experience. Practices take place in the Activities Rm at Andrews of Stratford (355 Shakespeare Dr) from 10–11:15 am on Saturdays starting September 2 to mid-June., Jenny at 902-368-3576
