The Community Museum Association of PEI invites you to partake in their “What Does Canada 150 Mean to You” project this summer. The project is an Island wide event taking place at various community museums from June-August. Each museum will have a display with five artifacts that celebrate the history of Canada. In empty labels provided, you get to determine why you think each artifact was selected, and how they play a role in Canada’s rich history. People of all languages, ages, and diverse backgrounds are encouraged to contribute to the exhibit. Symposiums will be held the end of July and start of Aug where you can share your own stories, opinions and artifacts about Canadian history to your community. To find a list of participating museums and Symposium dates, visit www.museumspei.ca/island-museum-news.html. Info: Shana Morrison-Wood, This email address is being protected from spambots.
