Fun and adventure in the outdoors

The PEI and New Brunswick divisions of Girl Guides of Canada are hosting a Fun and Adventure in the Outdoors Rally in Victoria Park on May 13 from 10 am to 4 pm. Over 300 Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers are expected to participate. The public is invited to participate and see what guiding has to offer.

The event will include an inflatable obstacle race, bubble soccer, laser tag, scavenger hunt, tug of war, games from the 150 Participaction selection, face painting, Save the Bees Project, UPEI Let’s Talk Science, UPEI Engineering, Parks Canada’s photo booth and air brush tattoos, hikes around the park, refreshments, UFIT, camp fire songs, a draw for free registration and more.

While this is an event for guiding members it is also a membership event. The goal is for people to see how much fun guiding is for both women and girls and invite you to come along and join in the activities, ask questions and get a real feel of an organization that has been empowering girls and women for over 100 years.

The program has activities for girls ages 5–18. Learn about opportunities, overseas trips, scholarships, training, and more.
