3rd Annual Show & Shine
August 26

The Cymbria Lion Club, 2184 Church Rd., Rustico is hosting its 3rd annual Show & Shine car show on August 26. Lots of great cars will be displayed in a great venue. There will be hot dogs, hamburgers, refreshments and lounge and rest rooms will be open. Participants can register from 9 am–noon. General public is welcome from 12–4 pm. Art in the Open
August 26

From 4 pm–12 am historic downtown Charlottetown will become an open air gallery presenting ephemeral works of public art. Art in the Open features performances, sculptural installations, projections, and other temporary art forms.

2nd Annual Festival of Forests
August 27

Macphail Homestead, 269 Macphail Park Road, Orwell, 2–6 pm. Join the staff and friends of Macphail Woods for a day of celebration of Island forests. Activities for children will include face-painting, games, and arts and crafts. Local food will be available for sale and families are also encouraged to bring their own picnics.
