Island musicians interpret Canadian pop music classics

Watermark Theatre 

Kelley MooneyWatermark Theatre has announced the lineup for the 2017 Classic Music Reignited Series. The series features Island musical artists interpreting classic Canadian composers. 

The three Sunday evening performances will feature an all-female Canadian composers night, an all male Canadian composers night, and a Canadian band night. 

The July 23 concert will feature female Canadian composers with the music of k.d. lang, Alanis Morissette, and Feist, performed by Kelley Mooney, Katie McGarry, Marlee and Morgan Saulnier.

On August 6 Canadian composers bands night will present music of Barenaked Ladies, The Band, and Heart, performed by Dylan Menzie, Nick Doneff, and Ben Aitken.

On August 20 the music of male Canadian composers Kim Mitchell, Gino Vanelli, and Stan Rogers will be performed by Richard Wood and Gordon Belsher, Tim MacPherson and Logan Richard.

All performances are at 7:30 pm.
