Strathgartney Highlands Golf Course celebrates 50th anniversary

Celebrate 50 years of golf in Bonshaw PE. Local community residents receive 1967 golf price of $5 per round from 9 am–8:30 pm on July 26, 2017. At 7 pm there will be free birthday cake and coffee, and a putting contest. Everyone welcome. Strathgartney Highlands Golf Course is located at 100 Strathgartney Road, Bonshaw, PE. Roma Historic Site

Roma at Three Rivers National Historic Site celebrates Jean-Pierre Roma’s arrival on Prince Edward Island 285 years ago.

Roma’s Heritage Lunch is from 12:00 to 1:30 pm while Afternoon Tea is from 2 to 4 pm. Bread is baked daily Monday to Friday in an outdoor oven and sold on site with cookies, heritage chocolate and fudge in the gift shop. Interpreters in costume explain Roma’s settlement.

Summer in North Rustico

North Rustico comes alive with activities through the summer season.

North Rustico Spoons Workshop with local musician and member of the Avonlea Show Band, Brendon Peters, will take place in Seawalk Park three times a week during July and August: Mondays at 1 pm, Wednesdays at 1 pm and Fridays at 11 am until August 3.

Fun in the City’s Greenspace

Every Wednesday from 12–1 pm in Rochford Square, Charlottetown, activities for all ages will be held. In July enjoy yoga, kung-fu, meditation and hiit fitness. Programs are beginner friendly. Games, activity equipment, books and additional seating and blankets are available.
