Tara MacLean

Atlantic Blue: a celebration of east coast songwriters—Tara MacLeanTara MacLean has released a recording of songs by her favorite Atlantic songwriters entitled Atlantic Blue: a celebration of east coast songwriters. A musical production by the same name is being presented by Tara throughout the summer at The Guild in Charlottetown.

The CD was produced by Chris Gauthier and co-produced by Rémi Arsenault at Dunk River Sound. It was engineered by Philip MacLellan with additional engineering by Don Chapman and James Carrier. Mixing was done by Rémi Arsenault assisted by Chris Gauthier and mastering by J. LaPointe at Archive Mastering, Nova Scotia. Kaneshii Vinyl Press Inc. manufactured the album. Cover photo is by Billie Woods with cover photo art direction by Zandra Stratford. Ocean photo is by Jared Doyle and graphic design was done by Ryan Hutchinson. Melanie Mills catered for the recording team.

Songs on the recording are Snowbird (Gene MacLellan), Movin’ On (Hank Snow), Turnaround (Stan Rogers), Coal Boat Song (Stompin’ Tom Connors), Flying on Your Own (Rita MacNeil), Fare Thee Well Love (James Kevin Rankin), La Tempête (Lennie Gallant), Paris (Gordie Sampson), Fear (Sarah McLachlan), Happy Baby (Shaye—Tara MacLean, Damhnait Doyle, Kim Stockwood, Jay Joyce), and Sonny’s Dream (Ron Hynes).
